Gorham Aesthetic Movement Mixed Metal Brass and Sterling-mounted Kettle on Stand, c. 1880, with turned wood handle above a cover with acorn finial and flowerhead, hammered body decorated in the Japonisme style with butterflies, flowers and birds, on a base with acanthus molded legs on claw and ball feet enclosing burner, ht. 10 1/2 in. Heavily polished over time with some wear to extremities and edges; scattered discoloration and spotting throughout.
