Whiting Sterling and Parcel-gilt "Ivory" Pattern Two-piece Fish Set, c. 1890, of typical form with openwork borders of scrolling foliage and scalework, ivory handles with serpentine shape and twist-turning, monogrammed, lg. 14 1/4 in., approx. 10 troy oz. Note: "Ivory" pattern was designed by Charles Osborne for Whiting in 1890. Ivory discolored; moderate usage wear to both with light surface scratching; casting still very crisp.
