KPM Porcelain Figural Group and Stand, Germany, 19th century, polychrome enameled and with gilt trim, modeled as an allegorical figure of Apollo supporting a shield with a Medusa head and riding a chariot pulled by four horses atop a freeform wave-molded base, lg. 15; set on a raised stand with stylized borders, lg. 18 1/4 in. Figures raised arm with old repair; one of the horse's legs restored; small chip to a horse's mane; front of helmet repaired poorly; the base with gilt wear to the trim.
