Carl Thieme Porcelain Figural Wine Barrel, Germany, late 19th century, gilt trim and polychrome enamel decorated with an allegorical figure holding and adorned with bunches of grapes, seated on a barrel mounted atop a pierced base with applied flowers, ht. 14 1/4 in. Scattered chips to applied flowers and grape leaves; figure restored to each arm, to her neck, and to right foot at ankle.
