Six Assorted Pieced Cotton Quilts, 20th century, a Grandmother's Flower Garden variant quilt based on a diamond, with printed cotton segments with yellow centers on a white ground, 82 x 92; one with butterflies outlined with blanket stitch embroidery on a white ground within a pink grid border, 76 x 65; one with appliqued large blossoms in solid colors, the flower centers outlined in blanket stitch, on a white ground with orange border, 90 x 73, a quilt with solid colored appliqued flower sprigs on a peach-colored ground with scalloped border, 91 1/2 x 74 1/2; a diamond basket pattern quilt with appliqued printed fabric baskets outlined with blanket stitches on a white ground alternating with blue diamonds, 91 x 74; a sun-hatted boy pattern quilt with appliqued figures outlined with blanket stitching on a square white ground with dark peach and turquoise borders, 82 1/2 x 52 in. Grandmother's Flower Garden varient- later backeground fabric and backing, very good unwashed condition; butterflies- lightly toned unused condition; flower blossom- toning fading, several small scattered brown spots, toned fold lines; peach quilt-unused cond. small darkish stain; diamond basket pattern-linor light toning unused condition; sun-hatted boy- minor light toning barely used condition.
