William Jurian Kaula (American, 1871-1953) Lot of Two Unframed Landscapes: Elm Trees, Autumn and Hillside Vista . Trees signed "W.J. Kaula" l.r., titled and inscribed in ink and identified on a label from The Guild of Boston Artists on the reverse; Hillside unsigned. Both oil on canvasboard, sizes to 11 7/8 x 15 in. Condition: Both with surface grime and wear to edges of the supports, Hillside with bowing to the support and staining and foxing to the reverse. N.B. Hillside appears to be an unfinished work.
