Nissan Engel (Israeli, b. 1931) À La Foire . Signed "Nissan Engel" l.r., titled and inscribed "...Nissan Engel./-Paris-" on the reverse. Oil on board, 24 x 18 in., unframed. Condition: Paint losses, craquelure, surface grime. Paint losses to each corner and with a loss measuring 1/2 x 1/2 in. at center of lower edge. Wood support is mounted to a 1 1/2 in. deep wooden stretcher. There are two small sketches of clustered domed buildings drawn with marker on the reverse.
