Two Glass Snuff Bottles, China, one of flattened oblong shape, painted inside with flowers of the four seasons, signed "Hongtian Yan shi," seal, coral stopper; the other of smaller scale, rectangular shape, finely painted inside with goldfish swimming amidst seaweed, dated bingwu year, glass stopper, lg. 2 1/2, 1 5/8 in. Provenance: Sold by the Peabody Essex museum, Salem, MA, for the benefit of acquisition funds. no damage
