Modern Painting, Qi Baishi (1863-1957), ink and colors on paper, depiction of a tea brewing scene, inscribed, signed "Baishi lao ren," dedicated to Xuetao, with two seals of the artist, mounted in hanging scroll format, 54 1/2 x 27 1/4 in. N.B. Wang Xuetao (1903-1982) was a modern painter specializing in the bird and flower genre. He was once a student of Qi Baishi.
