Vincent (Late 19th/Early 20th century). Carved alabaster sculptural bust, likely French depicting French anatomist and physiologist Marie François Xavier Bichat (French 1771-1802). Figural male bust raised on rectangular base with name "BICHAT" in integral carved bracket below gentleman's portrait. Signed and dated on side of figure "K? Vincent 1900". Height 16.6", width 11.75", depth 5.6".
