19th Century. On an old joined wood panel. Depicting three full length images of St. Gregory the Theologian, St. Basil the Great and St. John Chrysostom. Each wearing blue bishop's robes, in the gesture of delivering a blessing and holding a book of Gospels. St. Gregory is known for being a gifted poet and orator. St. Basil is considered to be the father of the Orthodox communal manasticism, and St. John Chrysostom is regarded as being particulary eloquent in his delivery of book of Gospels.
