Galle (1846-1904) Covered Pottery Bowl and Dish Decorated earthenware Nancy, France, late 19th century Fan shape dish with handled decorated in the Asian manner with a butterfly, flowers with lattice, stars and geometric devices in the borders in earth tones; accompanied by a covered bowl with petal shape lid decorated with red and gilt flowers and a red landscape, both signed E. Galle Nancy, some crazing on the lid, bowl and lid with unobtrusive repair, respective lg. 12; ht. 3 1/4 in. Covered bowl - cover and bowl have repairs.
