Hans Wegner (1914-2007) Valet Chair Teak and brass Attributed to Johannes Hansen, Denmark, design date 1953 Hanger -orm crest above a vasiform splat over a hinged saddle seat and tripod base, with brass fittings, seat raises to serve as a pants hanger, metal manufacturer's tag and a hook fitting missing, approx. ht. 37 1/4, wd. 19 in. Scuff marks on center and edges of saddle seat, and legs, joints are secure, no cracks or dents, no manufacturer's tag, no indication there was a manufacturer's tag, one of the brass seat pivot fittings is missing.
