Small Scandinavian Painted-Decorated Trunk, Early 19th century, dome top with small handle, painted with tulips and foliatge with drapery swag, on dark green ground, ht. 12 1/4, wd. 25 1/2, dp. 14 in. two large shrinkage cracks running the full length of top, with areas of related paint loss. overall age wear to finish. lock mechanism missing. lid does not sit flush onto body due to shrinkage.
