After Mathurin Moreau (French, 1822-1912), Figural Bronze Lamp Base, with gilt-bronze sconce, supported on a brown patinated figure of a cherub, mold incised signature M. Moreau, on square gilt-bronze-mounted rouge marble base, electrified, with an etched and frosted glass globe, ht. of lamp only 16 1/2 in. missing six metal corner mounts from base. Possibly adapted from a candelabrum. drilled.
