"Sevres" Porcelain and Bronze-mounted Sweetmeat Dish, mid 19th century, formed as a cluster of four seashells, raised at center and ending in downswept acanthus leaftip, mounted with acanthus finial centered by a bronze ring-form handle, on bronze footrim, ht. 9 3/8 in. tip of acanthus finial broken off and simply reglued; demilune on which finial rests with horizonal hairline. end of one of the narrower shells with old staple restoration, and two related small spots of restoration at rim.
