English Jacobean Carved Oak Blanket Chest, of typical form, the hinged lid carved with a border of running vines, the front and two sides carved with panels of birds amidst scrolling foliage, offset with fluted panels on block feet with scrolled accents, lg. 49 5/8, ht. 25 1/2, dp. 20 in. Refinished, overall age typical edge chips and gouging, shrinkage cracks, some losses to edge of lid.
