Empire Mahogany Veneered Work Table, mid-19th century, rectangular dished top with single drawer with fitted interior, with front cabriole legs ending in paw feet, with concave base and rear rectangular section legs, ht. 28 1/2, wd. 19 3/4, dp. 13 1/4 in. top surface with central shrinkage crack running the full length, edge of top with some restorations, veneer loss to top surface of base at back of left rear leg, minor age chips and scuffing, section of loss to cockbeading at upper right corner. French polished.
