Rorstrand Jugendstil Artist Designed Earthenware Jardiniere, Sweden, c. 1897, signed by Alf Wallander and dated "97," the ovoid vessel with overall mottled green glaze, modeled at rim with a figure of a sea nymph blowing a conch shell, and riding a large fish with a cherub behind her, the rim molded with naturalistic waves tips, ht. 8, dia. approx. 15 1/2 in. good, with a tiny fleabite chip to the edge of wavetip just over central figure's head. surface grime. marked in hand in green. with incised PF mark.
