Six Wedgwood Black Basalt Items, England, 19th century, including an oval teapot with molded arabesque floral design, ht. 3 1/2 in.; a similar design teakettle and cover, ht. 6 3/8 in.; an engine turned spittoon, ht. 5 1/8 in.; two cylindrical inkpots, one with a stopper, dia. 2 5/8, 3 3/4 in.; and an octagonal tray with iron red enamel encaustic-style border, lg. 9 in.; impressed marks. Teapot: cover and tip of spout heavily restored. Kettle: tip of spout with shallow flake. Spittoon: 4" piece out and simply reglued to rim. Inkpots: each in good condition. Tray: enameling a later addition.
