Central Plains Beaded and Quilled Hide Pipebag, Arapaho, c. third quarter 19th century, the beaded tabs from the opening decorated with quill wrapped rawhide slats, with faceted cobalt blue beads, tin cones with remnant red trade cloth tufts and fringe, with long quill-wrapped slat panel and fringe from the bottom, early beaded geometric designs on a white background, traces of green pigment, lg. 33 in.
