Rare Burlington County, New Jersey silk on linen needlework sampler wrought by "Rachel Allen... done in the 13th year of her age 1824", with a central Federal house, a girl holding a purse, a fox, swans, a dog, and multiple trees on a green lawn within a blue picket fence, surmounted by a rooster, a parrot, baskets of flowers, spread winged eagle, a squirrel, cornucopia, and verse, all within a grape and floral vine border, 23 1/2" x 22".
