Julian Trevelyan (British, 1910-1988) Benares, from the INDIA suite, 1968, edition of 75, published by London Graphics (Turner, 201). Signed "Julian Trevelyan" in pencil l.r., titled in pencil l.c., numbered "51/75" in pencil l.l. Color etching and aquatint on paper, plate size 13 3/4 x 18 5/8 in. (34.8 x 47.3 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 2 inches or more, pale staining, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Through the family of Eleanor Kanegis Levin, co-owner of Kanegis Gallery in Boston from 1953 to 1961, and the Retina Gallery in Cambridge from 1968 to 1971.
