Frederick Childe Hassam (American, 1859-1935) Wayside Inn - Oaks in Spring, 1926 (Cortissoz & Clayton, 261). Monogrammed and inscribed in pencil l.r., monogrammed, identified, and dated within the plate. Etching on paper, plate size 10 1/4 x 7 7/8 in. (26.0 x 20.0 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more with gentle mat burn and staining, pinholes to left margin, annotations to lower edge and verso. Sheet size 14 x 10 3/8 inches. Small tack hole l.l. edge . Gently light struck and toned. Printed on Whatman handmade paper.
