Louis Icart (French, 1888-1950) L'Invitée, 1940 (Holland et al. , 483). Signed "Louis Icart" in pencil l.r., inscribed in pencil l.l., artist's dry stamp l.l., identified within the plate. Color etching with aquatint and stencil coloring on paper, plate size 19 3/4 x 17 3/4 in. (50.0 x 45.0 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. The sheet is white, and gently rippled. The visible margins are over 3/4 inches. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no additional visible issues to report.
