Emile Albert Gruppé (American, 1896-1978) Vermont Covered Bridge Signed "Emile A. Gruppé" l.r., titled in pencil on the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 18 x 20 in. (45.8 x 50.7 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime. Subtle stretcher bar mark along bottom edge, with very minor craquelure to that area. There is a label from Gallery at Shoal Creek, Austin, Texas, on the frame backing paper.
