" l.l., inscribed "To Lucy/In remembrance of her untiring kindness during the trying summer of 1890./E.D. Boit/..th Oct. '90." in ink on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 16 x 24 in. (40.7 x 61.0 cm), framed. Condition: Minor retouch. Tear with resulting losses at l.c. measuring approximately 1 1/4 x 1/4 in., several areas of retouch to u.r. corner, largest area measuring approximately 1/2 x 3/4 in., stretched with Boston tabs to tacking edge.
