John Henry Hill (American, 1839-1922) Picnic by the River Signed and dated "J. H. Hill 1888" l.l., with a label from Alexander Reeves Fine Art Richmond,Virginia, on the frame backing paper. Watercolor on paper/board, sight size 7 1/8 x 11 1/2 in. (18.1 x 29.3 cm), framed. Condition: Not examined out of frame. Tape hinged to backing mat, ten old glue residue "dots" to the cardstock reverse, sheet size 7 15/16 x 11 7/8 in., minor retouch to u.l. quadrant measuring approxmimately 1/4 x 1/8 in., minor toning.
