Manner of Sir Peter Paul Rubens (Flemish, 1577-1640) Bacchantes and Satyrs Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 28 3/4 x 36 1/8 in. (73.2 x 91.8 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, small tear l.l., craquelure, surface grime. Thin washes of retouch throughout with the largest area to the background in the l.r. quadrant measuring approximately 16 x 4 in., varnish inconsistencies, tear with resulting paint loss to l.l. quadrant measuring approximately 1/4 x 1/4 in.
