Abelardo Morell (Cuban/American, b. 1948) Camera Obscura: El Vedado, Havana, Looking Northwest , 2002, edition of 30. Signed "ABELARDO MORELL" in pencil on the reverse, titled, dated, and numbered "...16/30" in pencil on the reverse. Gelatin silver print on paper, sheet size 20 x 23 7/8 in. (50.5 x 60.5 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Creases to image, tear to upper margin. The creases are pressed, and include a series of uneven vertical creases (as though the print had been rolled and partially crushed), plus creasing, primarily in the u.l and l.r. quadrants. The tear is nearly an inch long and grazes the image at the center of the upper margin. There are also surface scuffs to the image.
