Edward Weston (American, 1886-1958), Cole Weston, printer (American, 1919-2003) Nude, c. 1918, a later printing. Stamped "NEGATIVE BY Edward Weston PRINT BY" on the reverse of the mount, signed "Cole Weston" in pencil on the reverse of the mount. Gelatin silver print, sheet/image size 9 1/2 x 7 3/8 in. (24.1 x 18.8 cm), matted, unframed. Condition: Good. Provenance: From the collection of Austin Lamont, by family descent. There are two small (less than 2 mm each) imperfections within the sarong on her right hip. One on the surface, the other slightly and subtly indented into the sheet. Photograph is mounted on a mat board sheet measuring 15 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches. In addition to the Weston stamp and Cole Weston pencil signature on the reverse, the mount is further inscribed "IN" u.l., "Nude, 1918" u.r., and numbered "1990-02/22/EW21/0907" l.l., all on the reverse.
