Marc Chagall (French/Russian, 1887-1985) Plate from DE MAUVAIS SUJETS, 1958, edition of 153 (Cramer, 35). Unsigned. Etching with color aquatint on paper, plate size 14 5/8 x 10 3/4 in. (37.0 x 27.0 cm), framed. Condition: Margins 1 inch or more, not examined out of frame. Out of the frame the sheet measures 17 x 13 inches, has a partial Arches water mark, and has deckled edges to three sides. The work is very gently toned.
