Samuel V. Chamberlain (American, 1895-1975) An Alley in Pont-Audemer, c. 1924, edition of 255 plus proofs (Chamberlain & Kingsland, 145). Monogrammed and titled within the matrix. Lithograph on chine collé, image size 9 3/4 x 7 3/4 in. (24.6 x 19.5 cm), unframed. Condition: Margins of supporting sheet over 2 inches with deckled edges, tear/loss to right edge (well outside the edge of the chine collé), upper and lower edges slightly curled. Provenance: Through the family of the artist. A mat accompanies the lot.
