Eight Enamel-decorated Creamware Plates and a Serving Dish, Herculaneum Pottery, Liverpool, England, late 18th/early 19th century, eight dinner plates and a rectangular serving dish, each centered with an urn within a wreath surrounded by flower sprigs, with blue feather-edge rims, impressed "Herculaneum" on the bottom, (imperfections), dia. 10 in. The serving dish has a 1/2 in. rim chip mostly on the underside of the rim, a couple small enamel flake losses on the feather border. Two plates have very small rim chips, one plate has a 1 in. hairline on the rim with an associated very small surface chip filled with blue pigment seven plates have enamel flakes on the rim filled with blue pigment.
