Dark Green-painted Pine Lantern and Painted Wooden Bucket, America, 18th/19th century, the lantern with hinged door, two glazed panels, wrought iron handle; stave and hoop constructed bucket with cover, wire bail with carved hardwood handle, (imperfections), ht. 15 1/4, 8 in. lantern-shrinkage cracks, paint losses, old applied exterior leather hinges were split and repaired with interior canvas hinges; bucket- later paint, hoops a litlle loose, losses on bottom edge of cover hoop.
