William Jervis Rose Valley Colony Pottery Vase Art pottery Rose Valley, Pennsylvania, 1903-05 Long neck in mauve glaze on striated green glaze bulbous base, impressed Rose Valley floral cipher with overlapping V, ht. 7 1/2 in. Note: The pottery colony at Rose Valley did not operate for very long; many of the interesting glazes created during the American Arts & Crafts movement come from potteries such as this that had a small operating window.
