Louis XV Carved Marble-top Side Table, France, early 19th century, the ormolu-mounted turtle top over conforming string-inlaid case fitted with a drawer and further ormolu mounts, on sabre legs, ht. 27, wd. 18 3/4, dp. 14 1/4 in. Marble cracked, mounting separating from marble, drawer does not close, ormolu mounts lacking some nails, legs possibly cut down and lacking mounts to feet, scattered chips and nicks.
