Continental Ivory-inlaid and Brass-mounted Crucifix, likely Spain, the carved ivory figure of Christ with red-painted wounds below an ivory INRI plaque, on stepped wood base, cross ht. 22 5/8 in. Loss to ivory inlay, INRI plaque chipped in upper right corner. Shrinkage cracks and sepparation to Christ's body. Mounting to base is loose, Christ figure lg. approx 8, wd. approx 5 in.
