Pair of Meissen Porcelain Musician Figures, Dresden, late 19th century, a shepherd and shepherdess, the man playing the bagpipes with a sheep and dog at his feet, the woman playing a flute with a sheep at her feet, against leafy tree trunks, on gilded and scrolled bases, with first quality crossed swords marks, ht. to 10 1/8 in. Shepherd with loss to bagpipe and leaves (some present). Shepherdess with loss to flute and leaves.
