Small Continental Renaissance-style Enamel and Bronze-mounted Urn on Marble Base, possibly Vienna, late 19th century, ovoid, the fixed lid with artichoke-form finial, enamel decorated with bands of scrolls, the body decorated with Cupid and Venus in a landscape, with pair of winged griffin-form bronze handles, on trumpet foot and rectangular green marble base, full ht. 4 7/8 in., wd. to handles 5 in. lid fixed in place. Body needs reattching to enamel foot. enamel loss at one leaf below lid finial. spot of restoration at edge of lid. enamel foot with three gouge chips, including one to Cupid's face. small foot rim chips to marble base.
