American Victorian Carved Walnut Lectern, carved as a spreadwing eagle perched on a columnar standard with acanthus leaves, on four legs ending in paw feet, with plaque inscribed "In loving memory of Gregory Thirston Bedell," ht. 61 in. The eagle has a repaired break to one wing, where it was completely separated from the body. There are two repaired splits to the folio stand, one at the top and one at the bottom. Scattered unobtrusive nicks and scuffs.
