Extensive Chamberlain's Worcester Regent China Dinner Service, England, c. 1817, each with elaborate gilding, the wide pale blue borders decorated with diamond-shaped cartouches of birds in polychrome enamels, flowers and fruit to the centers, consisting of thirty-five dinner plates, dia. 10; eighteen soup plates, dia. 9 7/8; two covered sauce tureens; covered soup tureen; circular serving platter, dia. 12 1/2; square serving bowl, lg. 10 1/4; two covered octagonal vegetable dishes; oval strainer, lg. 15; seventeen bread plates, dia. 7 1/4; and twelve serving platters, (3) 10 1/8, (3) 12 1/8, 14 1/2, (2) 16 3/4, 18 1/2, (2) 20 3/4 in.; printed factory marks. Entire set with very light and even usage wear throughout and some very minor enamel flaking. 10 plates: 9 with hairlines; two with staining; one with a 3/8" rim chip and a hairline; 2 with small chips to the footrim. Soup plates: Scattered light stacking wear spots; 2 with hairlines. Sauce tureens: one cover with a 1" chip. Covered vegetable dishes: one cover missing handle and with several small rim chips; one dish with a 1 3/4" footrim chip.
