Pair of Louis XV-style Two-light Bronze-mounted Porcelain Wall Sconces, 19th century, each plate with central hand-painted scene of courting couples signed "J. Aublet," celeste blue borders with reserves filled with musical instruments, with ribband mounting to top and candle stems emerging from a mask, ht. 14 1/2 in. Light surface wear and rubbing to plates. No chips, cracks, or repairs to plates. Break to tip of foliage on one drip cup. Some spots of metal fatigue.
