Keith Shackleton (British, b. 1923) Pintails Against the Light Signed and dated "Keith Shackleton 68" l.l., titled and numbered on the reverse of the frame liner, numbered "K.S. #51" on the reverse and on the back of the frame. Oil on Masonite, 24 x 48 in. (61.0 x 122.0 cm), framed. Condition: Minor frame abrasions, subtle varnish inconsistencies, minor surface grime. Stamped "Royal Board...Sweden" on the reverse. Streaking visible under UV, which is likely due to varnish inconsistencies; no apparent craquelure, bloom to varnish; no additional condition issues to report.
