Nikolay Tysland (Tusland) Leganger (American, 1832-1905) Eden Lake, Near Mt. Chocorua Signed "N.T. Leganger" l.r., titled in a later hand on the frame backing. Oil on canvas, 18 x 30 in. (45.8 x 76.4 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, surface grime. Scattered retouch throughout, including: l.r. with one area measuring 3 x 1 inch; l.l. with a spot 1 inch diameter; l.c. with a spot 1/2 inch diameter, u.l. with a cluster in tree and with 2 x 1 inch spot, u.c. with a cluster of retouch 5 inches across and 2 inches high, and scattered through the sky. There is a label from Alice and Win Dibble, Shoreham, Vermont, on the frame backing paper.
