Bruce Crane (American, 1857-1937) Autumn Mist Signed "BRUCE CRANE" l. r. Oil on canvas, 14 x 20 in. (35.5 x 50.7 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, craquelure. Wax lined. Fairly dense area of dots and dashes throughout the sky. Three areas of broader retouch along horizon line, measuring 4 x 1/2 in, 3 x 1 1/2 in., and 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 in. Scattered retouch to center to fill craquelure; minor loss along tacking edge to l.r. corner measuring approx. 1/2 x 1/8 in.; no additional condition issues to report.
