Kanti Rathod (Indian, 20th/21st Century) Women with a Herd of Oxen Signed and dated "KANTI RATHOD '69" on the reverse. Oil on fiberboard, 36 x 24 in. (91.4 x 61.0 cm), framed. Condition: Minor abrasions, surface grime. N.B. Rathod was born in Gujurat and studied at the venerable Sir J.J. School of Art in Mumbai. He has exhibited at the All India Annual Art Exhibition, and held one-man shows at Jehangir and Taj Art Galleries in Mumbai. Minor abrasions with the largest to the u.r. quadrant measuring approx. 1/4 x 1/8 in.; no additional condition issues to report.
