Abraham Jacob Bogdanove (American, 1887-1946) Seascape Signed "A. J. BOGDANOVE" l.r., identified on a fragmentary label affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvas, 25 x 29 3/4 in. (63.5 x 75.6 cm), framed. Condition: Surface grime, craquelure. Craquelure throughout; moderate surface grime--would benefit from a cleaning; alligatoring throughout, particularly to areas of heavier impasto such as cresting waves; no additional condition issues to report.
