Franz Von Stuck (German, 1863-1928) L'Amazone Signed "FRANZ VON STUCK" within the cast on the plinth, foundry stamped "GUSS C. LEYRER MUNCHEN" on the plinth. Bronze with dark brown patina, approximately 25 1/4 x 14 x 6 3/4 in. (64.1 x 35.6 x 17.1 cm). Condition: Restoration to cast plinth and figure's right middle finger, replacement white metal spear. The restoration is very well executed, although the replacement spear is abraded, probably from slipping through her hand. There are very minor surface rubs and grime.
