Walt Disney Studios (American, 20th Century) Dumbo, The Circus Elephant /An Animation Cel Stamped "WDP" l. r., identified on a label from Courvoisier Galleries, San Francisco, on the paper backing. Gouache on celluloid with a Courvoisier airbrushed presentation background, sight size 7 1/2 x 9 3/8 in. (19.1 x 23.8 cm), framed. Condition: Minor craquelure to celluloid, disadhesion along top of window mat, not examined out of frame. The piece has slipped from its mat so the top edge of the cel is now visible. Some of the pigment in Dumbo is disadhereing. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
